Sometimes not knowing where to start is the biggest challenge.  Below is what we recommend you do. Of course, at any time, contact us directly for help and support. 

• Don't panic.
• Call and make an appointment at WomanKind Medical Clinic for a pregnancy test done by our professional staff. A limited ultrasound will verify an inter uterine pregnancy.
• Once verified, the Medical Clinic will:
  • Give you facts on fetal development, adoption, abortion, parenting etc.
  • Give referrals to Doctors, Lawyers/for Legal counsel, Housing information, Maternity and Infant clothing and supplies, STD referrals, Financial Guidance referrals.
  • Give referrals to government funded projects, such as Healthy Start, Medical Assistance and WIC (Women, Infant, Children) where you can receive financial and material help. You will be given information to call and set up appointments to see if you qualify for the program.
  • Refer you to low income insurance programs, such as Badger Care (WI), financial help (FISC Financial Information and Service Center, Inc. or LEVEN-Emergency Assistance), both are non profit organizations.
  • Refer you for Post Abortion support and referrals. Adoption referrals. Maternity Homes etc.
